We were excitied to have shared a weekend with 160 teenagers. Those that came were able to take part in our Winter Olympic events such as ice bowling, boot hockey, frozen hammer throw, and many more fun and crazy games. Teen Snow Camp brought in many teens from all over and when they left, there was a strong sense of community. We look forward to being involved with these students plus many more in our events here at The Springs!

The Springs 2010 Ladies Retreat- April 15-17,2010, Thursday-Saturday.
Memorial Work Weekend — May 28-31,2010, Friday-Monday.
The staff recently spent 4 days in Wisconsin at a conference. This retreat is filled with workshops in specific areas such as maintenance, food service, program and office management. The days are filled with fellowship with camp staff from all over the USA. Each year this group gathers at a different camp to enjoy fellowship and learning together. The conference is put on by the National Association of Regular Baptist Camps. Dan Kohns, the director at The Springs, sits on the governing board. It is a privilege to take part in this event each year.
Dates have been set! We are already getting ready for summer. The theme is being worked on, staff are praying about spending the summer here, t-shirts are being designed and brochures are in the making! Get ready for another great summer. We are anticipating some awesome things. Sign up as soon as you get the brochure! Invite a friend. Be praying that God will use the summer of 2010 to change the lives of many campers.

Summer has come to a close. God has again used camp in the lives of young people. We are excited to give a report of our summer.
Attendance: 540 total summer campers (up over 15 % from last year) 166 were Senior Highers, 162 Junior Highers and 212 Juniors. God continues to bless the summer program. Many campers continue to tell us of the decisions that were made. We love to hear their stories. Our theme this summer challenged the campers to get into God’s Word. WORD ALIVE- Everyday in chapel, the speakers challenged the campers with truths from the Bible. Each day was filled with activites and games that pointed us back to the theme. Friday for Juniors was Bible Days. They went from station to station where a Bible Story was brought to life. From Jonah and the big fish to Jesus walking on water, campers saw how God’s Word is an important part of their everyday life.
24 Salvation decisions during our summer program. Many other decisions were made in the area of Bible reading, baptism, witnessing and deeper commitment to Christ. Obedience and kindness are also a common decision of the Juniors.
Family Camp Attendance: 130 campers. This weekend was a blessing as many families came together to enjoy various activities as well as great chapels. Kent and Becky Wallace were here again with their family to challenge us from God’s Word.

We welcome you to The Springs — where we’re all about Developing and Deepening Relationships with Jesus Christ!
The annual Partners in Camping Banquet was held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009. This was a celebration of the blessings over the last year. Along with a great meal there was a dinner theater. This was a humorous sketch of a week at camp. Dan challenged the guests in giving to the scholarship fund. All money raised will go to help campers go to camp. $2002.00 was donated to the scholarship fund. More money has been given by those who could not attend the banquet. Thank you to all who attended and gave so generously. Many campers will be reached through partial scholarships that we award.
